Can you believe we are almost in the middle of January 2926 already. We hope you have been enjoying our new online store. You can now order and pick up at one of our markets, you can have your order shipped and your choice of product has increased. We also have added discounts and this month we added our "Rusks" to our Collections!
South Africa is where rusks became known as "first breakfast" when we took folk our on the game reserve in the early mornings, they would be offered coffee and rusks for "dunking" in their coffee. Then later we would stop and set up a camp for a full breakfast in the bush. It is one of the activities we really miss! The quiet of the bushveld and sitting quietly looking out for elephant, lion, wildebeest and many varieties of buck. Back to reality!
Currently we are only doing 2 -3 indoor winter markets per week as Meridian is bi-weekly. There are currently no events, its quiet and of course the driving can be "scary" depending on the weather. That's why you can order all our products on line, Pastys, soups, entrees & desserts! Enjoy the hibernation as I don't think humans were meant to live in these cold snow filled lands!
